Who are you?
We are just a happy couple who decided to start a business to express our creativity and passion for the ocean and beach.
Where did you get this idea?
We were inspired by some souvenirs we saw while Honeymooning in the Bahamas. We came home and decided to get to work to see if we could create some beautiful and unique sea inspired products for our friends and neighbors in the U.S.
How long have you been doing this?
We started researching and brainstorming in May 2011 and after making our first sale to Bree's parents, we showcased our products to the public for the first time at the Provo Farmer's Market in August 2011.
What are the candles made out of?
All of our candles are made with high quality soy wax. We chose to use soy wax because we like how it burns cleaner and longer than other waxes. That way you get the most out of your candle and have a nice clean shell left over! We also use high quality candle fragrances and colors so that your candles are guaranteed to throw a great aroma to fill a room and maintain their uniquely designed color.
What are the soaps made out of?
All of our soaps are glycerin based soaps. The bars or rolls with designs are just a combination of transparent and opaque soaps, there is no plastic or other items in the bars except in the specific bars that state that they have natural sea shells inside. We use high quality, skin safe fragrances and dyes in our soaps to produce great smelling and great looking bars and rolls.
Do you have a store?
Not exactly. Right now we are selling at the farmer's markets and boutique shows listed on our "Contact Us" page. We are also working on setting up an online Etsy shop to make our products more readily available to the public.
Where do you make the soaps and candles?
In our very own kitchen and dining room! And yes, our house always smells great!
